The 2012-2016 vaporwave movement was pure nostalgia-bait. This still bangs tho

I can't discern what is good or bad when it comes to pop music. I enjoy the experimental bits of it, though. The David Cronenberg feature was funny.

Terrifying to be digital and at the whims of controllers who made the rules of your universe.
Music · 2018
This is a sin against music and art in general.

Just relistened to this - mindblowing stuff. He made this in 2013 with a box of scraps!

Great writing music. Cyberpunk atmosphere. Reminds me of Alien Isolation keyboard clacking.

I had hypnosis eye spirals the whole time watching this glued to the TV like a boomer playing slots.

Knowledge is a sword, and sometimes you stab yourself.

$50 to see the last gasps of a AAA studio would normally be tempting, but unfortunately that would reward shareholders, something I'm opposed to in this current climate.

It's so much flatter than it could be, and Christopher Nolan is just off his game on so many production calls. A real shame. It does not deserve to be Nolan's highest-grossing film, but I also don't HATE it.

This album is scary.

Have hope on Earth and dream of Heaven.

This is an album I put on when I'm feeling a little down to cheer me up immediately. Can't be sad when George Clanton is on.

Vivek Menon and Drew Atz carry this album past even what the highly experimental Iglooghost could have accomplished by himself. It's simply one of a kind. Favorite track is the opener "Eœ (Disk Initiate)".

Music · 2001
Soothing ambience for sleeping. I actually like the dog whine.

Fishing arcade cabinets hold a special place in my mind from childhood, and this puts me back into those memories quite seamlessly.
Music · 2013
"Sunlight on Rusting Hulk" is such a mind-calmer.

Music · 2021
Worse than Bucolica but still an incredible listen for anyone who likes spacey synth ambient.

Music · 2012
My favorite of PCA's giant discography. Shoutout to Adam Curtis and Bitter Lake.

Music · 2026
Good mood music for Delta Green and not much else.

On repeat for 2 and a half months straight. I don't know if I'll ever tire of this album.

What a series soundtrack. It completely immerses you in the digital age mystery. Favorite tracks are "Seafarer's Hymn", "cry_sky.bsp" and "devText".

Music · 2020
Very contemplative pieces from a concept album for an unreleased game. Favorite song is "A Tiny Piece of Nothing".

I can still picture summer 2017 when I listen to this. The passion for post-rock radiates like heat from minute 1 of this album.

It's all improvisation, but you could never tell. Elijah Fox makes it sound like he practiced this for years.

Calum Bowen makes genres twist around his fingers so easily that Jersey Club and reggae appear right next to each other seamlessly within the same song. It's like magic.

Did a roadtrip with this on loop and it made me cry in a good way.

Farewell to the most beautiful music of the 2020s...

Your will and ideology imposed upon the unsuspecting survivors of nuclear apocalypse through words and bullets. Truly a nerd's fantasy to talk down the strongest adversary into letting you win. Too many deathclaws on the Lonesome Road.

Music · 2018
This album makes me feel closer to God.

Tennyson is an artist unique in my mind in their ability to craft full surroundings of sound. "Rot" is more of the same in the best way.

Become insane and desperate.

Music · 1969
Amazing soundtrack for one of the most disturbing movies you can watch. He beats his wife and tries to kill himself in this one

The artificiality of mainstream television has sucked all life from this once great series, and its corpse now hangs limply from Ira Parker's marionette strings.
