Once, I had a Trout Fishing in America lunchbox. In the morning, my mom would fill it with a sandwich, an orange, and some crackers that were also orange. The sandwich was made out of bread so soft that when you took a bite the whole thing turned into play dough. The crackers came in a dusty zip-lock bag and tasted vaguely of cheese. No matter how deeply I stuck my sweaty fingers into that bag, there was always a big orange crumb stuck in the corner that just wouldn't budge. The inside of the Trout Fishing in America lunchbox was made of white vinyl lining. Usually I could find a few ants scurrying along the seams. They were on their way to find that orange crumb but got distracted by a spot of juice and dust that had dried up on the vinyl.

my lived reality is that I feel like these are all voidz songs and pretty weak ones at that. Nothing exciting happens the whole time. The production is so fucking boring to me and, unforch, I feel the lyrics and vocals cannot carry the weight of that burden. There are some parts of stuff i like but overall there is no payoff on any of the songs. Maybe my julian pill is just wearing off because i have my very own greasy androgynous boyf irl but i feel like i knew what this was going to sound like and i knew i wasnt gonna like it. stream flexorcist.
